Parameters:
  • time – time in source frame or observer frame depending on output format in seconds

  • redshift – redshift - not used if evaluating luminosity

  • mej – ejecta mass in solar units

  • beta – initial ejecta velocity

  • ejecta_radius – initial ejecta radius

  • kappa – opacity

  • n_ism – ism number density

  • l0 – initial magnetar X-ray luminosity

  • tau_sd – magnetar spin down damping timescale

  • nn – braking index

  • thermalisation_efficiency – magnetar thermalisation efficiency

  • kwargs – ‘output_format’ - whether to output luminosity or flux

  • kwargs – ‘frequency’ in Hertz to evaluate the mergernova emission - use a typical X-ray frequency

  • kwargs – ‘photon_index’ only used if calculating the flux lightcurve

  • cosmology – Cosmology to use for luminosity distance calculation. Defaults to Planck18. Must be a astropy.cosmology object.
