redback.transient_models.tde_models.tde_fallback(time, redshift, mbh6, mstar, tvisc, bb, eta, leddlimit, rph0, lphoto, **kwargs)[source]

Identical to the Mosfit model following Guillochon+ 2013 apart from doing the fallback rate fudge in mosfit.

Parameters:
  • time – Times in observer frame in days

  • redshift – redshift of the transient

  • mbh6 – black hole mass in units of 10^6 solar masses

  • mstar – star mass in units of solar masses

  • tvisc – viscous timescale in days

  • bb – Relates to beta and gamma values for the star that’s disrupted

  • eta – efficiency of the BH

  • leddlimit – eddington limit for the BH

  • rph0 – initial photosphere radius

  • lphoto – photosphere luminosity

  • kwargs – Additional keyword arguments
